American Television Distribution's syndicated talent competition series slated for a fall launch has been picked up by station groups including Sinclair, CBS, Tribune, Weigel, Media General and the CW Plus stations.
‘The Big Big Show’ Cleared In 75% Of U.S.
American Television Distribution has garnered major market station clearances for its upcoming syndicated talent competition series The Big Big Show.
Among the stations on board are WLNY New York; KDOC Los Angeles; WCIU Dhicago; KDAF Dallas; , WATL Atlanta; KIAH Houston; KASW Phoenix; and WADL Detroit.
Sinclair Broadcast Group is a major supporter with over 20 stations participating, representing 75% coverage of the United States.
CBS, Tribune, Weigel, and Media General have placed the show in their fall schedules and the CW Network has agreed to clear the series in its 100 CW Plus markets as well.

“Stations have long been looking for fresh, ‘firstâ€Ârun funny’ to give their weekend viewers something other than offâ€Ânet or offâ€Âcable drama hours; or the umpteenth runs of old network sitcoms” said Richard Golden, ATVD broadcast sales executive. “Station groups have welcomed us with open arms and respect us for taking the risk on a fun show.”

Premiering in September 2015, The Big Big Show features judges Andrew Dice Clay, Tara Reid and Tom Green raining piles of cash on the best variety talent acts from around the globe. “The Big Big Show is a talent show with a unique spin and fresh approach.” said Tommy Habeeb, host and executive producer of the series. “It is an amalgam of many shows, but what makes it stand out are the immediate cash rewards and wacky consequences delivered by our judges.”
Filmed in front of a live audience, the new talent competition series is executive produced by reality television veteran Habeeb along with Clay and show creator Jim Campbell.
Production begins this summer in Dallas.
