WGHP Names Henderson Director Of Sales

Tribune Broadcasting’s Fox affiliate WGHP Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem, N.C. (DMA 46) on Monday appointed Nicole Henderson director of sales.

She will be responsible for directing all aspects of the station’s advertising sales efforts on all platforms and will begin her position on May 1, reporting to Jim Himes, WGHP president and general manager.

Henderson joins Tribune from WFLA-WTTA Tampa, Fla., where she was local sales manager. Previously she was local sales manager at WHBQ Memphis. She has also held sales positions at WTVD and WRDC, both Raleigh, N.C.

Henderson began her media career in North Carolina as a master control operator at WLFL-WRDC Raleigh.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in organizational communication from Saint Augustine’s College in Raleigh, N.C.
