WGN TV Launches Redesigned News App
Tribune flagship WGN Chicago has launched a redesigned news app execs say delivers live streams, news alerts and local coverage faster and more seamlessly than its predecessor.
In addition to a 24-hour live stream, “WGN News” allows viewers to watch stories rooted in their neighborhoods, a company rep says.
Users can save stories to read or share later. The app also allows consumers to watch video and while scrolling through an article simultaneously.
The app is available free for Apple and Android devices.
