WPHL Philly Names Political Sales Exec
Reflecting the growing importance of political advertising to local TV broadcasting, Tribune Broadcasting’s MNT affiliate WPHL Philadelphia today named General Sales Manager Kristin Long to a new post — vice president/strategic sales for political and issues advocacy.
Long has been with WPHL for five years. Prior to WPHL, she worked at ABC National Television Sales and as a project manager at Media Ventures for John McCain’s 2008 presidential bid.
Replacing Long as GSM is National Sales Manager Dave Yost. He joined the station eight years ago after stints at CBS and Harmelin Media.
