WPIX Names Wasserman Local Account Exec

Tribune Broadcasting’s CW affiliate WPIX New York (DMA 1), today named Rachel Wasserman a local account executive. Wasserman will be responsible for handling major advertising agencies and selling WPIX, PIX11.com, multicast networks Antenna TV and This TV, along with mobile opportunities.

She will join WPIX11’s sales team on Feb. 24, and will report to Debbie Presser, general sales manager. 

Wasserman joins WPIX from TeleRep, where she was most recently a New York sales manager. Wasserman has held several positions at TeleRep/Cox Reps including sales executive and sales trainee.

A former IRTS fellow, Wasserman holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in television entertainment management from Emerson College in Boston.
