WRAL Ups Jim Rothschild To Station Manager
CBS affiliate WRAL Raleigh, N.C. (DMA 24), flagship station of Capitol Broadcasting, has promoted its director of station operations, Jim Rothschild, to station manager.
Rothschild had a successful 28-year career at Belo-owned CBS affiliate KMOV St. Louis before joining WRAL in 2010.
Rothschild has helped lead a number of station efforts including the relief campaign raising more than $800,000 in 2011, after parts of North Carolina were devastated by deadly tornadoes.
