Zaruba Named GSM At Sinclair Paducah Duo

Sinclair Broadcast Group today named Brad Zaruba the new General Sales Manager for its Fox affiliate KBSI and MNT affil WDKA in Paducah, Ky./Cape Girardeau, Mo. (DMA 81).

Zaruba started his career in television in 1980 at KPVI Pocatello, Idaho, as sports director. In 1987, he took the position of sports director at WITN Washington, N.C.

A change in career direction occurred in 1987 when Zaruba moved into WITN’s sales department as an account executive. A brief stint as an account executive at KUTV Salt Lake City in 1998 preceded his return to WITN as regional sales manager.

In 2001, he became the new national sales manager at KFVS Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Zaruba attended Brigham Young University where he obtained a degree in communications with a broadcast journalism emphasis. He also served four years in the United States Air Force.
