Tegna-owned MNT affiliate WATL Atlanta (DMA 10) will debut news in primetime from co-owned NBC affiliate WXIA. 11Alive News: Primetime will air from 8 to 10 p.m.
The expansion will lead into WXIA’s current 10-11 p.m. broadcast on WATL.
“Having 11Alive’s primetime news on WATL and YouTube ensures more Atlantans have the opportunity to interact with local news at the time that’s convenient for them,” said WXIA President-GM John Deushane.
11Alive News: Primetime will be anchored by Aisha Howard, Jeff Hullinger, Jennifer Bellamy, Ron Jones, Chris Holcomb and Samantha Mohr throughout the evening.
