Heather Sullivan Joins KRIV Houston’s News Team

Fox-owned KRIV Houston (DMA 8) has hired Heather Sullivan as a consumer reporter for Houston’s Morning Show and various station newscasts. She begins in February.

Most recently, Sullivan was a business, consumer and political reporter for WWBT Richmond, Va. Prior to that, she was a national consumer correspondent for Raycom Media’s America Now syndicated show.

Previously, Sullivan was an investigative reporter and anchor for WSPA Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C., and, before that, for WZVN Fort Myers, Fla. She also spent time as an anchor, reporter and host for Ocean County Newschannel in Los Angeles.

Sullivan began her career as an anchor and reporter for KVAL Eugene, Ore.

A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, she holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and political communication. She also has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
