Karen Navia Joins WRMD As Multimedia Journalist
Telemundo’s WRMD Tampa has hired Karen Navia as a multimedia journalist for Noticiero Telemundo 49 on weekdays and weekends. Navia’s on-air debut was on Oct. 7.
Before joining Telemundo 49, Navia worked for Telemundo affiliates in New Mexico and Lubbock, Texas. She had several roles that included executive producer, reporter, and anchor for both newscasts.
Navia earned her degree in communication from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016.
