Christina Carilla Promoted To Evening Anchor At KSAZ-KUTP Phoenix

Christina Carilla was named weekday evening anchor at Fox-owned KSAZ-KUTP Phoenix. Effective immediately, she will co-anchor the Fox 10 News at 4 p.m., Fox 10 News at 5 p.m. and Fox 10 News at 9 p.m. alongside John Hook.

Carilla joined the Fox Phoenix duopoly in 2018 as anchor of KUTP’s Fox 10 Xtra News @ 7, and became co-anchor of the Fox 10 News at 10 p.m. in September 2019. Prior to that, she spent three years as morning anchor of WZVN Fort Myers, Fla. Previously, Carilla was a multimedia journalist, reporter, and weekend anchor for KNWA Fayetteville, Ark.

A graduate of Temple University, Carilla holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcasting, media studies and production.
