E.W. Scripps-owned NBC affiliate WPTV West Palm Beach, Fla., has appointed Kathy Reynolds news director, effective Tuesday, May 31.

She comes to South Florida from Washington D.C., where she was news content director at CBS affiliate WUSA. In that role, she led the news department in the development and execution of strategic plans promoting audience growth on all platforms.
