Reporter Lawrence Smith Joins WDRB Louisville
Block Communications-owned Fox affiliate WDRB Louisville, Ky. (DMA 48), today hired Lawrence Smith as a general assignment reporter.
Smith, who was most recently dean of students at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has an extensive background in broadcast news, having previously worked as a reporter/anchor at WHAS Louisville; an executive news producer at KRIV Houston; and as a reporter at KHOU Houston, WAVE Louisville, WATE Evansville, Ind., and WTVQ Lexington, Ky.
Smith also served as vice president for communications at the Southern Baptist Seminary from 2001 to 2008.
