WBTW Adding New Weekend Morning Newscasts

Media General’s CBS affiliate WBTW Myrtle Beach-Florence, S.C. (DMA 103), on Wednesday announced the addition of News 13 Saturday Morning to air at 8-9 a.m. beginning May 19 and News 13 Sunday Morning at 8-9 a.m. beginning May 20.

Libba Holland will anchor the one-hour newscasts, joined by weekend meteorologist Andrew Phillips.

Since 2010, Holland has been an associate producer and digital journalist at WBTW. She has a “Dish It Out” segment which airs weekdays during News 13 This Morning.

Phillips has been WBTW’s weekend meteorologist since 2011. In addition to his new role, he will continue to provide forecasts for the 6 and 11 p.m. weekend editions of News 13.
