Mike Bennett Named Meteorologist At WTVT
Fox O&O WTVT Tampa, Fla. (DMA 14), today added meteorologist Mike Bennett to its news department. Barrett will be the station’s meteorologist on weekend evening newscasts and fill in as needed on other newscasts.
Bennett comes to WTVT from WTEN Albany, N.Y., where he was meteorologist. Earlier in his career, Bennett held the same position at WSYR Syracuse, N.Y. and for Ithaca College Television. He began his career at WCBS New York as an intern.
A graduate of Cornell University, Bennett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in atmospheric science and is AMS certified.
