WGN Chicago Launches This TV On Ch. 9.3

This TV, the 24/7 free digital network from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc., is now on airing on WGN Chicago’s ch. 9.3 and, starting in December, will be on the following cable channels:

• Comcast 354 (starting December 4)
• RCN 28 (starting mid-December—currently This is on RCN 26)
• WOW! 195
• Charter 962
• Mediacom 107 (starting mid-December)

“This TV gives viewers in Chicago a high quality free movie programming alternative,” said Jacqueline Comeau, SVP, This TV affiliate relations, MGM.  “Audiences of all ages know that the MGM brand stands for quality entertainment and This TV delivers on that promise and more.”

This TV features movies from MGM’s library of more than 4,000 titles.  Effective this fall, MGM partnered with Tribune Broadcasting to operate This TV. Tribune will handle all programming and promotion operations for the digital network out of the WGN-TV facilities in Chicago.
