Journalist Maria Corrales Joins KRIV Houston

Fox-owned KRIV Houston (DMA 10) has added Maria Corrales to its news team. Effective Feb. 24, Corrales will serve as a multimedia journalist for the Fox26 News at 5 PM as well as several weekend newscasts.

Corrales has held a variety of roles in the Houston market. Most recently, she was a news reporter/producer for KXLN (Univision). Prior to that, she was a media specialist/bilingual spokesperson for Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services in Houston.

Corrales began her career interning for KTMD Houston and KTRK, both in Houston.

A graduate of the University of Houston, Corrales holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication. She majored in media production and minored in broadcast journalism and Spanish.
