WTTG Adds Martin Di Caro To Cover Transportation

Martin Di Caro joins Fox O&O WTTG Washington (DMA 7) as the station’s transportation contributor, covering all issues regarding transportation, specifically Metro. Effective the week of June 20, Di Caro will report on various station newscasts and digital platforms.

In making the announcement, WTTG News Director Paul McGonagle said: “With all of the mechanical problems surrounding Metro, and the emergency repair work and maintenance surges currently taking place, having an expert like Martin on staff will be of great benefit to Fox 5 and its viewers.”

Di Caro currently is the transportation reporter for WAMU-FM Washington, covering all local and regional transit issues. He also works for the Associated Press Radio Network in Washington and New York. Previously, Di Caro spent time at radio stations across the country, including WMAL-AM Washington and WKXW Trenton, N.J.

A graduate of Ithaca College, Di Carlo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in TV/radio production.
