Meteorologist Mark Collins Rejoins WJXT
Meteorologist Mark Collins returns to Graham Media’s WJXT Jacksonville, Fla. (DMA 47), in time for Hurricane Hermine coverage.
He was a fill-in meteorologist and a weather producer at WJXT from 2010-11. He left WJXT in 2011 to anchor weekend weather at WTSP in Tampa.
Recently he worked at the Florida Institute of Oceanography aboard research vessels studying Florida’s marine ecosystems.
Collins has also worked in the Miami television market.
He is also a First Tampa Bay Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal holder.
