Enhanced employment service features online job postings, searchable resume database, auto-notification and tracking tools.
The Broadcast Cable Financial Management Association (BCFM) and its Broadcast Cable Credit Association (BCCA) subsidiary have launched the BCFM/BCCA Job Bank, an interactive job board that replaces an earlier job listing service provided by the associations. Targeted at financial and business professionals in the broadcast, cable, and electronic media industries, the BCFM/BCCA Job Bank—http://jobbank.bcfm.com/—is available to its members and the industry at large.
“We’re very excited about our ‘new and improved’ BCFM/BCCA Job Bank, because it’s important for us to enable smooth career transitions for our individual members who are seeking industry jobs,” said Jamie Smith, BCFM director of operations for BCFM. “And we know how critical it is for our corporate members and other employers in the industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources.”
Both members and non-members can use BCFM/BCCA Job Bank to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily. Job posters will also receive online reporting that provides job activity statistics.
For job seekers, BCFM/BCCA Job Bank is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the broadcast, cable and electronic media industries. In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review if they choose. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide e-mail notifications of jobs that match their criteria.
