Program-length AR cuts costs, boosts creativity at Raleigh’s WRAL

WRAL Raleigh, N.C., worked with Ross Virtual Solutions to create full production, all green-screen program length content. Costs stayed well under control while creativity multiplied.

WRAL managers wanted to create a full-length program using augmented reality. They worked with Ross Virtual Solutions to create it.

“Everybody’s looking at costs,” said Jim Rothchild, station manager at WRAL 5 in Raleigh, N.C. “We all know the material costs of building sets and this is a great combination of lowering those costs and increasing the creative potential exponentially.”
