After Midnight, hosted by Taylor Tomlinson, was watched by an average of 686,000 viewers in the 12:37am hour, per Nielsen’s live+same day fast national data. This compares to The Late Late Show with James Corden’s live+same day average of 806,000 for its final season.

Fox Reports Its Digital News Brand Finished 2023 Tops In Multiplatform Views And Minutes, Touts Growth

Fox News Digital released a series of ratings data points sourced from Comscore, saying in a statement that, based on the numbers, the group “closed out calendar year 2023 as the top-performing news brand with multiplatform views and minutes.” The company also reported that it saw 9% growth with views and 6% growth with minutes, year over year.

Kevin Hart’s Lift delivered a strong debut with 32.8 million views following its Jan. 12 premiere, making it the most-viewed title this week on the Netflix Top 10 chart and soaring to No. 1 on the English Films List. Falling just beneath that is J.A. Bayona’s survival story Society of the Snow, which landed another 28.1 million views and joins Netflix’s Most Popular Non-English Films List after just 11 days of viewing. The film currently ranks No. 1 on the Non-English Films list.

Amazon Prime Video’s ‘TNF’ Sees Strong Growth Among Young, Female Viewers

In addition to major across-the-board viewership growth during the NFL season, Amazon Prime Video says it had major gains among younger and female viewers in its second year of the Thursday Night Football franchise. Younger 18-34 viewers averaged 2.4 million per game in 2023 — up 14% over a year ago versus its first year Prime Video airing (2.11 million) and 26% higher than the total that Fox/NFL Network earned in 2021 (1.9 million). For its entire 13-game schedule, Nielsen-measured TNF viewership was up 24% to 11.86 million viewers versus a year ago.

‘Celeb Jeopardy’ Tops Tuesday With Season Highs, ‘The Floor’ Ties ‘Night Court’ For No. 2

ABC’s Celebrity Jeopardy! semifinal was Tuesday’s most-watched show (by a wide margin) and also came out on top in the coveted-and-delicious 18-49 demo. Celeb Jeop! returned from the holiday break to 4.4 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, hitting and matching Season 2 highs. ABC’s broadcast of Only Murders in the Building‘s first three episodes averaged 3 mil and a 0.24. On NBC, Night Court’s Season 2 premiere (3.7 million/0.4) was down a tick from the revival’s freshman averages.

‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ Rings In Victory For ABC With 30% Audience Increase

The annual special was up 30% in primetime on ABC with an average of about 8.4 million people tuning in from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the latenight edition posted a whopping 18 million viewers, soaring to 22.2 million by the time the ball dropped in Times Square. As expected, the audience grew as the night went on. By 10:30 p.m., about 10.4 million people were watching, while the first two hours of the show averaged around 7 million. Things fell off after midnight, with the second half of the latenight show only drawing 5.1 million.

Once again, the popular newsmagazine show is top of its class, also coming in as No. 1 among true crime franchises, for the 2023 broadcast year-to-date. According to Nielsen’s most current data, the series has amassed more than 125 million viewers this year across broadcast, licensing and syndication. ‘Password’ Returns Low With Holiday Outing

ABC’s share of the Monday Night Football match-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks averaged 8.3 million total viewers, down 10% week-to-week in audience. On NBC, Password‘s holiday special drew 3 million and a 0.2, down sharply from any of the revival’s solid summer 2022 numbers.

Television usage jumped 5.7% in November, boosted by the Thanksgiving holiday to its highest levels since January, according to Nielsen. Viewing during the week of Thanksgiving was up 14%. Over on Fox, Kitchen Nightmares‘ double-episode season finale did 1.5M/0.2 and then 1.1M/0.1, with the second hour matching and hitting season lows.

‘SNF’ Surges To 9-Week Audience High As Packers Upset Chiefs

NBC Sunday Night Football‘s broadcast of the Packers’ 27-19 win over the Chiefs averaged 19.6 million total viewers, up 50% from last week’s Ravens-Chargers game to mark the largest overnight tally for the franchise since Chiefs-Jets on Oct. 1. In the demo, SNF scored a 4.6 rating, rising 28% to its best tally since Cowboys-49ers on Oct. 8.

The rivalry game between the No. 2 and No. 3 teams averaged more than 19 million viewers on Fox this past Saturday, marking the largest audience for their matchup since 2006 (when the teams were No. 1 and No. 2).
