NBCUniversal Advertising & Partnerships Adds Jennifer Barendrecht as SVP, National Offices

She will be responsible for leading NBCUniversal’s One Platform sales efforts across the company’s national offices specifically focused on the western region, while driving revenue as well as strategic objectives for clients and partners.

Jennifer Barendrecht will join NBCUniversal’s Advertising & Partnerships division as senior vice president, national sales under Mark Marshall, president, Advertising & Partnerships’ organization.

In this role, Barendrecht will be responsible for leading NBCUniversal’s One Platform sales efforts across the company’s national offices specifically focused on the western region, while driving revenue as well as strategic objectives for clients and partners.

Barendrecht is based in Los Angeles and will report directly to Mark Miller, executive vice president, agency partnerships and national offices.

She brings morel than 20 years of industry experience to the division with past roles at Turner/WarnerMedia/Discovery ranging from account executive to west coast manager to vice president, where she led sales across Turner’s sports portfolio, including NBA, MLB, PGA, NASCAR, NCAA and Bleacher Report.

Barendrecht also helped run the University Relations vertical on the Turner Sports DE&I committee, where she helped expose diverse, young talent to the industry. Prior to working at Turner, Barendrecht held positions at Health & Fitness Journal, Barry Diller’s Silver King Broadcasting and more.

Barendrecht received a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in communications with a business emphasis and a master’s degree at USC’s Annenberg School in Communication Management.
