Leaders in compliance, investigation and technology integration will discuss how they assess how the convergence of disruptors may change the way the media industry looks in two years during a panel, Converging Digital Disruptors and Media Industry Security.

Set to take place at TVNewsCheck’s Cybersecurity for Broadcasters Retreat on Oct. 26 at NAB Show New York, the session will be headlined by Yasmine Abdillahi, executive director, security risk and compliance, Comcast Cybersecurity; Jayati Dev, privacy engineer, Comcast Cybersecurity; and Gavin Corn, director, data privacy and security legal, Netflix. “As media companies move into new areas like streaming, there are new security considerations and vulnerabilities to consider,” said TVNewsCheck Publisher and Co-Founder Kathy Haley. “The number of bad actors continues to proliferate, but now they have AI as a tool to aid them in writing and disseminating malicious code. This session will lay out those new threats and how best to engage them.”
