Allison Wise Named KHBS-KHOG P.M. Anchor

Hearst Television’s ABC affiliates KHBS-KHOG Fort Smith-Fayetteville, Ark. (DMA 101), has appointed Allison Wise weeknight evening news anchor.

She will anchor 40/29 News at 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday alongside anchor Paige Preusse and Chief Meteorologist Darby Bybee. In addition to her anchoring duties during the week, Wise will also be reporting.

On Sundays, Wise will continue to anchor 40/29 News at 5:30 and 10 p.m. and 40/29 News at 5 and 9 p.m. on sister station, The Arkansas CW.

Currently, Wise anchors 40/29 News on Saturday and Sunday evenings on ABC 40/29 and The Arkansas CW, while also reporting on all 40/29 media platforms.

Wise graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in communication and political science in 2008. She will receive her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas this spring.
