Danamarie McNicholl Joins Fox News Channel As Miami Correspondent
Fox News Channel has signed Danamarie McNicholl as a Miami-based correspondent. She will begin her role on Nov. 6.
McNicholl has been a reporter at KFMB San Diego, where she was born and raised. During her two-year tenure there, she covered the city’s breaking news stories, including being at the scene of an F-18 military jet crash near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
Previously, McNicholl was a reporter and anchor for KREM Spokane, Wash., for four years. She started there as a general assignment news reporter before becoming a morning news anchor.
McNicholl began her journalism career as a newsroom intern at San Diego 6 News, XETV Tijuana, Mexico.
A cum laude graduate of Gonzaga University, McNicholl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast and electronic journalism and is currently finishing her master’s degree in criminal justice and cybersecurity at Boston University. She is also a member of The Miss America Organization and was named Miss Washington in 2018.
