David Sentendrey Joins KDFW Dallas News Staff

David Sentendrey will join Fox-owned KDFW Dallas (DMA 5) on Nov. 11. He will report for the station’s weekday Fox 4 News at 9 p.m. and Fox 4 News at 10 p.m. newscasts.

In making the announcement, Robin Whitmeyer, KDFW VP-news director, said: “David’s relentless investigations have held authorities accountable and resulted in significant changes. I know he’ll bring that same passion to the work he does in North Texas.”

Most recently, Sentendry was a reporter at WJZY, the Fox O&O in Charlotte, N.C. Previously, he was a correspondent for the print and online platforms of the Enquirer Journal in Monroe N.C.

Prior to that, Sentendry was the Examiner’s beat blogger for the Charlotte NBA team formerly known as the Charlotte Bobcats, now the Charlotte Hornets.

While in college, he was a sports reporter for the school’s Appalachian newspaper and staff editor for the annual literary magazine, PEEL.

A graduate of Appalachian State University in North Carolina, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and journalism.
