Emma Claybrook Named Weekend Morning Anchor At KHBS-KHOG

Hearst Television’s ABC affiliates KHBS-KHOG Fort Smith-Fayetteville, Ark., promoted Emma Claybrook to weekend morning anchor. She joined the 40/29 News team as a multimedia journalist in June 2019.

“Emma’s energy and personality will be a great addition to the anchor desk,” said 40/29 News Director Colleen Clement. “Emma’s willingness to go the extra mile stands out, and I’m confident she’ll bring that same commitment to Sunrise whether she’s behind the anchor desk or reporting from the field.”

Claybrook is originally from Joplin, Mo., and graduated from the University of Missouri’s Missouri School of Journalism with a degree in TV reporting/anchoring.

In college, she worked as a reporter and anchor at KOMU, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Mo., where she covered stories like the Duck Boat tragedy in Branson, Mo., and a rally for President Donald Trump. She also worked as a reporter at New Europe, a political newspaper in Brussels, Belgium where she learned all about the European Union and its political system.

Claybrook began her weekend morning anchoring on 40/29 News Sunrise earlier this month.
