Estephany Haro Named Assistant News Director For KSTS San Jose

Telemundo’s KSTS San Jose, Calif., has appointed Estephany Haro assistant news director, effective April 8. In this capacity, she will manage daily news operations, including sports, weather and breaking news for Telemundo 48. She will report to Stephanie Adrouny, VP of news for NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48, and Sandra Perez, KSTS news director.

Haro will collaborate closely with Adrouny and Perez to guide the station’s editorial.

Haro has been a part of Univision 14 KDTV’s news department for the past eight years, serving in various capacities including assistant news director, executive producer, senior news show producer, producer/writer, and assignment desk editor. She is a 10-time regional Emmy Award winner for her work on news stories and comprehensive breaking news coverage.

A native of San Jose, Haro has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Jose State University.
