Felicia Lawrence Joins WTHR Indianapolis As Weekday Anchor

Tegna-owned NBC affiliate WTHR Indianapolis (DMA 25) has hired Felicia Lawrence as a weekday evening anchor, alongside local news veterans Scott Swan and Anne Marie Tiernon.

She has nearly a decade of experience in television. Before joining WTHR, Lawrence co-hosted The Jam morning news talk show at WCIU Chicago. Prior to that, she was an anchor/reporter at WJZY Charlotte, N.C., KSNW Wichita, Kan., and KODE Joplin, Mo.

Lawrence is a Chicago native. She graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina A&T State University. She is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, and the National Association of Realtors.

Lawrence will join WTHR in late January.
