Fox Television Stations is increasing its “2020 You Decide” political lineup with the addition of WAGA Atlanta’s new show, The Road to November. Effective Feb. 14, this half-hour program will air on Friday evenings at 7 p.m.

WAGA SVP-GM Bill Schneider said: “2020 is shaping up to be an unusual and consequential year in politics, both nationally and in the state of Georgia. In today’s highly political atmosphere, it makes sense for us to be the next market to join this important FTS initiative. This program will fulfill the crucial role of condensing the most critical stories of the perpetual political news cycle for our viewers.”

Hosted by WAGA 6 and 10 p.m. anchor Russ Spencer, The Road to November will examine national, state, and local politics. The program will analyze the key moments of the week in political news, from the presidential race, to Georgia’s two U.S. Senate races, and several key U.S. House races in the Atlanta area.

Additionally, The Road to November will feature commentary from political analysts and Spencer will conduct in-depth interviews with candidates from major races throughout Georgia. WAGA will leverage the resources of the Fox-owned stations to add depth to its coverage of the Presidential election and other national issues.

This program in Atlanta becomes the 10th political program produced locally by a Fox-owned station.
