KAPP-KVEW Names Van Slyke News Director
Morgan Murphy Media-owned ABC affiliates KAPP-KVEW Yakima, Wash. (DMA 114), has appointed Matt Van Slyke news director of the stations.
Van Slyke comes to KAPP-KVEW from KSBY San Luis Obispo, Calif., where he was assistant news director.
He’s worked in television news for more than 15 years with previous experience in Sacramento and San Francisco as well as Seattle.
Van Slyke has a BA in communication design–media arts from California State University, Chico.
His first day in the KAPP-KVEW newsroom will be Aug. 6.
