Learn OTT News Content, Revenue Strategies

OTT executives from CBS Local, Sinclair,  NBC News Digital and TownNews will share the latest insights on OTT news content, technological challenges and monetization potential for the platform at the seventh annual NewsTECHForum this month.

News executives pioneering on the OTT platform will what they’re learning about audience behavior and how they are responding to it by evolving their content and monetization strategies on Dec. 17 at the New York Hilton.

Adam Wiener, EVP and GM, CBS Local Digital Media; Scott Ehrlich, VP emerging platform content, Sinclair; Saleem Malkana, head of product at NBC News Digital; and Susan Bell, senior product manager, BLOX OTT at TownNews will break down their experiences as news content providers on OTT, zeroing in on the audience insights that are driving forward their programming strategies and the evolution of their technology and revenue generation. The panel will be moderated by TVNewsCheck Editor Michael Depp on Dec. 17 at 10:45 a.m.

The seventh annual NewsTECHForum, set for Dec. 16-17 at the New York Hilton, will bring together engineering, news, production and digital leaders to discuss excellence in news storytelling and news workflow.

This year’s NewsTECHForum will also feature the second annual Social Media Excellence Awards, recognizing extraordinary engagement and innovation by local TV brands and talent.

NewsTECHForum is co-located with the 14th Annual SVG Summit, which gathers more than 1,000 sports video professionals and their technology partners to talk about production excellence in sports television. The SVG Summit is produced by the Sports Video Group and features a technology showcase of more than 75 companies that is open to all NewsTECHForum attendees.
