Pedro Andrade Named KULX Salt Lake City Assistant News Director

KULX Salt Lake City (Telemundo Utah) has promoted Pedro Andrade to assistant news director from news producer. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing KULX’s multi-platform news operations. He will report to Jose Suarez, KULX president-GM.

Andrade is a 16-year veteran news professional. He joined KULX in 2020 as a producer, after working at sister-station KSTS San Jose, Calif. (Telemundo 48) for five years as news producer.

He received a Silver Telly Awards 2022 for his accomplishment in producing the special report Cold Case, Who killed Rossie Tapia.

He began his career in broadcasting as the host of a radio station in Caracas, Venezuela.
