Traffic Anchor Madison Glassman Joins WAVY News

Nexstar-owned WAVY (NBC)-WVBT (Fox) Norfolk, Va. (DMA 44), has hired Madison Glassman as traffic anchor for its WAVY News 10 Today.

She joins from KEZI Eugene, Ore., where she was a multimedia journalist, anchor and producer.

Glassman makes her debut Monday, Sept. 23, on WAVY News 10 Today 4:30-7 a.m. and on WAVY News 10 on FOX43 at 7-9 a.m.

Glassman is a graduate of Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media. During her time there, she interned at WABC New York and KABC Los Angeles. In her final semester, she and a team of student journalists traveled to Puerto Rico to report on conditions six months after Hurricane Maria devastated the island. Their newscast was recognized with an Edward R. Murrow Award and a National Television Academy Award, among others.
