Nexstar CBS affiliate WBTW Myrtle Beach/Florence, S.C., has added Trish Williford to its weeknight anchor team.

She and WBTW veteran Patsy Kelly will co-anchor the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. weeknight newscasts.

Since 2019, Williford has been an anchor/reporter for WCCB Charlotte, N.C. Before WCCB she anchored, reported and produced newscasts at Nexstar’s WSAV Savannah, Ga.

Williford will take over newscasts that were anchored by Bob Juback, who recently retired after 36 years at WBTW.

News Director Paul Caron said: “We’re fortunate to hire someone as experienced as Trish Williford who has spent her entire broadcasting career covering news in the South, including the past 5 years in Charlotte.”

BRAND CONNECTIONS

WBTW VP-GM Robert Raff added: “We’re excited to have Trish rejoin the Nexstar family. She’s an experienced anchor who has also been an investigative reporter. Trish will be a great addition to our team.”
