WAGA Expands ‘Good Day Atlanta’ By An Hour

Beginning April 15, Fox-owned WAGA Atlanta (DMA 10) will expand its Good Day Atlanta with an additional hour of local news from 10 to 11 a.m.

With this addition, WAGA will produce 11.5 hours of live, local news each weekday and 68 hours of local news per week.

Sharon Lawson, Katie Beasley and Joanne Feldman will anchor the expansion of the morning newscast. In addition, “Good Day Atlanta” anchors Ron Gant, Alyse Eady, Buck Lanford and feature reporter Paul Milliken will contribute to the newscast.

The program’s distinctive local twist will deliver breaking news and weather and debut a new feature, “Talk of the Town,” which will feature trending stories of the day.

The added hour will also feature daily talkback segments with notable locals and radio personalities from around Georgia.
