WNJU Names Alexa Rodríguez Assistant News Director

Telemundo’s WNJU New York has promoted Alexa Rodríguez to assistant news director, effective Monday, Aug. 5.

Endy Rodriguez, the station’s VP of news, said: “Alexa has two decades of local TV experience and is a key member of our newsroom. Her steady hand with our 11 pm newscast is helping us maintain our news leadership in the market month after month; a first for WNJU. She is respected by her colleagues and peers and is a mentor to many.  Alexa is exactly the person we need to help us remain competitive in the market.
