WTIC Promotes Rachel Frank To Chief Meteorologist
Tribune-owned WTIC (Fox)-WCCT (CW) Hartford, Conn. (DMA 33), today promoted Rachel Frank to chief meteorologist. The Emmy Award-winning Frank joined WTIC in 2008 and serves as meteorologist on The Fox 61 News at 4, 5, 10 and 11 p.m.
Frank graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology.
She worked as a meteorologist at WFMZ Allentown, Pa., and WICU Erie, Pa., before joining WTIC.
She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
