WTSP Tampa Names Nicole Wolfe Director Of Content

She moves across town from WTSP to oversee journalism at the Tegna CBS affiliate starting June 20.

Tegna CBS affiliate WTSP Tampa today appointed, Nicole Wolfe director of content, effective June 20.

She joins from Scripps-owned WTSP Miami, where she was news director and managed the strategy, editorial content and execution of the Florida 24 Network, the Scripps state-wide streaming news network.

Prior to that role, she was assistant news director at WFTS Tampa and WCMH Columbus, Ohio. Previously, Nicole was an executive producer in Philadelphia and Baltimore.

She is a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where she earned a B.S. in telecommunications.

Wolfe’s arrival at WTSP Tampa Bay is just one of recent personnel moves.

Erica Guevara has been promoted to senior executive producer. In addition to her time as executive producer at WTSP, she has also served as news/digital content director at WPEC West Palm Beach, Fla., and executive producer at WOAI and KABB, both in San Antonio, Texas.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

She holds a B.S. in communications from the State University of New York at New Paltz and an M.A. in communication from Arizona State University.

Taylor Berry has joined the station as morning executive producer from Black News Channel where she led the morning team and drove strategy and content for the OTT platform as executive producer. Previously, Taylor held producer roles for a variety of newscasts, primetime shows and streaming programs in Houston with KRIV and KIAH, both Houston.

She holds a B.A. in film, theater, communication arts and journalism along with an M.A. in professional writing from the University of New Orleans.
