DMA 35: CINCINNATI

WXIX Adding 4 and 11 P.M. Newscasts

Raycom-owned Fox affiliate WXIX Cincinnati (DMA 35) will debut two new newscasts to the station’s weekday lineup. On Aug. 13, FOX19 NOW at 11 p.m. debuts, then on Aug. 27, FOX19 NOW at 4 p.m. premieres.

FOX19 NOW’s Trisha Mackie will anchor the new, hour-long 4 p.m. newscast. At 11 o’clock, she and 10 p.m. co-anchor Rob Williams will continue delivering the day’s top stories.

According to Bush, “With changing lifestyles, it’s clear that Tri-State viewers are looking for local news at times that are more convenient to them. We’re expanding FOX19 NOW to meet those needs. These additional newscasts will build upon FOX19 NOW’s brand of Always Local, Always NOW, keeping viewers connected with what’s happening in their communities whenever it happens.”

With this news expansion, plus WXIX’s current news lineup and Rob Williams’ daily digital show Rob Williams Anytime (on Roku and Amazon FireTV), WXIX will offer 10 hours of local news content every weekday.

Nineteen is very NAUGHTY in the ‘Natty. You jerks need to cut back on the local news output. Don’t expose yourself to the needs and wants of political purgatory and tell viewers you won’t be there for them where and when they want.

Adding news is a cheap way to kill time and put up more vapid information..Local TV is killing themselves slowly each and every day!!!
