Yahaira Hernández Joins KVDA San Antonio For Weekend Weather

NBCUniversal’s KVDA San Antonio, Texas (Telemundo 60), has hired Yahaira Hernández for its “La Autoridad en El Tiempo” weather team, as the weekend weather anchor. Her first day on-air was Saturday, April 30.

“We are happy to have Yahaira join our family. Weather is an important part of our news operations, and this proves our commitment to keeping our viewers informed on any weather changes,” said Delines Alonso, vice president of news.

Hernández obtained a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, with a concentration in broadcasting and a minor in digital media-motion media.

Prior to her arrival at KVDA, Hernández worked at KXTQ Lubbock, Texas, where she was a news/weather anchor and producer.
