Law&Crime Expands Production Unit, Adds New EVP Of Productions and Head Of Content Partnership & Development

Legal and true crime network Law&Crime has hired former BuzzFeed Head of Development Jonathan Noah and promoted the network’s Executive-in-Charge Mara Soucie to EVP of productions. Law&Crime said: “As the network expands its production unit, these new roles will be integral to the company’s continued growth and influence within the true crime space.”

Noah will focus on establishing new collaborations with other top true crime creators on YouTube and social media, as well as broadening Law&Crime’s slate of original programming.

Soucie, who spent 19 years at Viacom/MTV Networks as director of production management before joining Law&Crime, will be in charge of managing the production operations of all third-party and on-network productions.

“We are beyond thrilled to promote Mara, and welcome Jonathan to the Law&Crime family,” said Rachel Stockman, president. “They are both top notch executives, who bring with them a wealth of experience.”

Law&Crime has produced a number of shows and podcasts for A&E, Fox Nation, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu and others. Many of Law&Crime’s original productions and courtroom coverage are available to livestreamed on the network’s YouTube channel.
