WNLO To Air Buffalo Bandits Professional Lacrosse

Nexstar-owned WNLO (CW23) Buffalo, N.Y., today announced plans to broadcast 14 Buffalo Bandits National Lacrosse League games during the 2023-24 regular season.

The first of the 14 games will air at 7 p.m. ET on Dec. 9, when the Bandits open the season against the Albany Firewolves. CW23 broadcasts will also include “Banner Raising Night” on Dec. 16 against the San Diego Seals, and a rivalry game against the Colorado Mammoth on Jan. 6.

“Our organization is thrilled to partner with CW23 to televise Bandits’ games in the Buffalo area, as it allows us to reach a larger audience in our region, and continues our commitment to growing the sport of lacrosse,” said Bandits Head Coach John Tavares. “We are very thankful for the support of CW23, and we look forward to delivering a great television product not only to our already dedicated fanbase, but also to those who will be introduced to Bandits lacrosse as a result of this partnership.”

WNLO VP-GM Joe Abouzeid said: “Last year’s broadcast of the NLL championship game featuring the Bandits was such as success that we couldn’t wait to bring more Bandits games to viewers in Buffalo and the surrounding area. We are thrilled to expand our partnership with the Bandits.”

The 14 games will be aired on WNLO across the Buffalo and Southern Ontario area. A complete schedule of the telecasts:
