IBC: Broadpeak To Share Company’s Vision For The Future Of Video Delivery And Streaming Experiences

At IBC 2022 (Amsterdam, Sept. 9-12, stand 1.B79), Broadpeak will highlight how pay TV operators, content providers and OTT players can provide a compelling video streaming experience to subscribers with the company’s software deployed on-premises, offered as a service, or a hybrid of both.

Broadpeak’s CDN, multicast ABR and other advanced streaming solutions “ensure a superior quality of experience (QoE) and enable the collaboration between operators and content providers,” the company says.

“We are excited to share our vision for the future of video streaming at IBC2022 in Amsterdam,” said Jacques Le Mancq, Broadpeak CEO. “As video delivery evolves, energy efficiency is becoming more and more critical. We look forward to showing how Broadpeak’s CDN technologies enable sustainable video streaming while improving video quality of experience and opening up new monetization opportunities.”

Key Highlights at the Show

Future-Proofing Video Delivery With Advanced CDN — Broadpeak will demonstrate how its Advanced CDN is future-proofed for video delivery by leveraging an open, dynamic, and elastic architecture. Broadpeak will also demonstrate how the new steering center makes its Advanced CDN context-aware and allows operators to control which CDN features are being used for each session with a very fine granularity based on the request characteristics.

Improving Video QoE and Monetization With Multicast ABR — Broadpeak’s nanoCDN multicast ABR (mABR) solution brings scalability and low latency to the live multiscreen video delivery environment. During the show, attendees can stop by the Broadpeak stand to see how nanoCDN improves QoE, especially at peaks, with real-world examples of collaboration between network operators and content providers for highly popular OTT content. In addition, Broadpeak will highlight the efficiency of mABR for targeted ad delivery.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Open Caching for Reduced Traffic and Improved Video Streaming QoE — As an active member of the SVA Open Caching Initiative, Broadpeak will explain how implementing an in-network, open caching system can solve traffic problems and enable cooperation between content owners and pay TV operators. The result is a compelling video streaming experience for subscribers and more control over OTT traffic on the networks.

Simplifying Advanced Video Streaming — Broadpeak will showcase broadpeak.io, its software-as-a-service that streamlines video streaming. In addition, Broadpeak will introduce the Video Edge CDN, a revolutionary and simple way to buy CDN capacity from internet service providers. Broadpeak’s API-based platform offers content providers, pay-TV operators, and OTT service providers an easy, fast, and reliable way to launch and deliver advanced streaming services to their subscribers. Demos will focus on content replacement, personalized virtual channels, as well as the newest application that simplifies dynamic ad insertion.
