Maxon Expanding Global Workforce With New Waterloo Office

Maxon, the developers of professional 3D modeling, animation, rendering and motion design software solutions, have announced it is opening a new office in Waterloo, Canada, later in the year. Marking its increasing global presence, the office will accommodate Maxon’s expansion of development roles, including engineering, design and product management.

“As a globally diverse company, we are looking forward to the opportunities this latest location expansion will bring,” says David McGavran, CEO. “Our hugely talented team and creative community can be found all over the world, so we hope to be able to tap into the particular benefits of being in this region, with its strong technology industry activity, and ultimately continue to bring numerous benefits to employees, partners and customers worldwide.”

The opening of the Waterloo office expands Maxon’s physical presence in Canada alongside its Montréal office. Located in Canada’s technology hub, its dynamic tech ecosystem includes companies such as Google, Oracle and Blackberry and is home to Canada’s fastest growing start-ups. Additionally, this area is home to University of Waterloo, a leading Canadian university for Computer Science and Engineering, and Maxon says it is hopeful that this location expansion will help to develop connections and employment opportunities with some of the country’s top tech graduates and talent.

Information and application forms on the available Waterloo-based roles for the new office can be found on the Maxon Careers Site.

Opening a new office is a big step; it is also important to equip it correctly. It is necessary to provide each employee with an individual work area, or place a group of employees working on the same project in one area. I think the office module is the best solution to significantly increase productivity in your office.
