Pixellot, a provider of AI-automated sports video and analytics solutions, and The Players League (TPL), an emerging leader of independent baseball leagues and affiliated entities, have announced a partnership with TPL partner The Old North State League (ONSL), a collegiate summer baseball league in North Carolina. As the official technology provider for the ONSL, Pixellot will automatically stream all the league’s games, enhancing the fan experience and expanding the reach of every player and team.

Pixellot’s DoublePlay is a cutting-edge multi-cam AI-automated technology dedicated to streaming baseball. Starting this season, Pixellot said, “the Old North State League will benefit from high-quality live and on-demand video coverage of their games across multiple platforms, ensuring an immersive and engaging experience for fans, players, and coaches alike.”

“We are very excited to partner with the Old North State League,” said David Shapiro, Pixellot president of North America. “This partnership will help elevate both the fan and player experience, as we bring our DoublePlay multi-cam video production to all 16 teams.”

Founded in 2018, the Old North State League is the premier college summer baseball league, attracting international talent to North Carolina for competitive play between the 16 teams represented across the state. Assumed by The Players League in 2023, the ONSL joins an aggressively expanding organization dedicated to the advancement of the sport through the empowerment of its players.

“Pixellot technology will be a crucial component to the success of our league,” said Alec Allred, The Players League CEO. “Our players will now have incredible multi-angled footage of all of their games as they play in the different TPL partner leagues around the country. This partnership also gives the fans a high-quality viewing experience and opens the door to exploring new ways of engagement and monetization now that games will be streamed for all to enjoy.”
