Amanda Fitzpatrick Joins WCCB As Weekend Anchor
Bahakel Communications-owned CW affiliate WCCB Charlotte, N.C. (DMA 24), has added Amanda Fitzpatrick to its news department as a weekend evening anchor. Her first day is scheduled for Sept. 1.
Fitzpatrick most recently was an anchor at KDAF Dallas.
She previously worked at WTVD Raleigh, N.C.; WCSC Charleston, S.C., and WALB Albany, Ga.
Fitzpatrick has been nominated for two Lone Star Emmy awards, recognized by the National Association of Black Journalists for excellence in reporting, and was included in Dallas Weekly magazine’s “Top 25 People to Watch in 2014.”
