Anchor Dave Price Returns To WNYW New York

Dave Price has been named co-anchor of Good Day New York on Fox O&O WNYW New York (DMA 10).

Beginning Monday, July 2, he returns to WNYW to co-host the morning news program alongside Rosanna Scotto from 7 to 10 a.m.

Current GDNY co-host Greg Kelly will now anchor Fox 5 News at 6:00 p.m. and co-anchor Fox 5 News at 10 p.m. with Dari Alexander. Ernie Anastos will remain the co-host of Fox 5 News at 5 p.m.

Price was the weatherman on Good Day New York from 1999 to 2003. Most recently, he was the weather anchor/features reporter for The Early Show on CBS and was also the weather anchor for CBS 2 News This Morning on WCBS New York.

Prior to that, Price co-anchored for WTXF’s Good Day Philadelphia. Earlier in his career, Price spent two years as morning weather anchor and feature reporter for WBBM Chicago and began his broadcasting career as morning and noon weathercaster at WSEE Erie, Pa.

Price holds a Bachelor’s Degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University. He also holds an honorary doctorate in humanities from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.

The new WNYW evening news lineup will be as follows:

• Ernie Anastos and Dari Alexander co-anchor Fox 5 News at 5:00 p.m.

• Greg Kelly anchors Fox 5 News at 6:00 p.m.

• Greg Kelly and Dari Alexander co-anchor Fox 5 News at 10:00 p.m.

• Additionally, numerous Positively Ernie specials hosted by Ernie Anastos will begin airing later this year.
