Anchor Nancy Leal Returns To KXTX Dallas

Telemundo-owned KXTX Dallas (DMA 5) today named Nancy Leal co-anchor of the weekday edition of Noticiero Telemundo 39 at 4 and 4:30 p.m. with anchor Carlos Zapata. Leal returns on Monday, April 23.

“After more than a year anchoring the morning newscast of our sister station KVEA in Los Angeles, Nancy returns home,” said Freddy Oldenburg, KXTX VP of news. “We are excited for Nancy’s return.”

Leal returns to KXTX after working as the morning weekday news anchor for KVEA for the past two years. Before this, Leal worked at KXTX for 11 years as a reporter and anchor of the weekend edition of Noticiero Telemundo 39.

She began her career in local broadcasting as a reporter and anchor at KCEC Denver in 2000.
